ABOUT NEXT GEN COMEDY
The City of Stirling and WA Comedy are providing a launching pad for WA’s best new comedian.
Next Gen Comedy is a competition based on audience vote, meaning we’re leaving it up to the people to decide which comedians career is going to the next level.
“Winning Next Gen was a surreal experience. Being so new to the Perth comedy scene, it amazes me how friendly and supportive the whole scene is here. Winning this has made me feel like I’ve established myself as an act here in Perth, and I can’t wait to see what doors it’ll open for me.”
– IAN BURKE (2024 Next gen comedy winner)
