Emo Majok

EMO MAJOK is an award-winning South Sudanese comedian, based in Perth Australia. He is easily recognizable from his ‘gold buzzer’ moment on Australia’s Got Talent 2022, where he made it all the way to the finals. That same year, he debuted his award-winning show ‘African Aussie’ at the world-renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

He also won of ‘Comedian of the Year’ in 2021 at his home club, Comedy Lounge, one of the finest clubs in Australia. In 2023 he was awarded ‘Best Interstate Act’ at the largest club in the country, the Comic’s Lounge, during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

He has recently been touring in the US and Canada, and after a sold-out run at the Toronto Fringe Festival, he earned the Patron’s Pick award. In his early career, Emo won the state finals of Australia’s largest nationwide competition, RAW comedy, taking him to the finals in Melbourne.

With his quick with and easy charm, there is no wonder Emo continues to rise at rapid speed in the comedy scene.
